I'm there, too: @peoplemanager

I am actively working within the Twitter space https://twitter.com/dgeaston- I actually believe that the popularity of the tool is related to the excessive amount of information available from folks, organizations and groups we all respect. I can follow thousands of Tweets but would be totally overwhelmed to follow an equal amount of blogs or longer digital content.

The amount of time required for a good blog post is between 6 and 8 hours -- that is 360 - 480 minutes. How long does a Tweet Take? If it is three minutes(researching links etc.)per tweet you can send 120 - 160 Tweets.

I think that Blogging is being replaced by micro-blogging and that longer conversations will be adapted into discussions like these or "articles and white papers", eBooks and of course digital journalism.

Question to all -- How are you using Twitter? Do you Blog?
I'm on Twitter http://twitter.com/snoopdougydoug and I use it to pick up quick ideas and for fun too. Blogging I do at a couple of places, notably http://stopdoingdumbthingstocustomers.wordpress.com/

I am curious about your point on blog posts = 6 to 8 hours....is that to compile? Mine generally take about 5 to 30 minutes max, can you share your blog address so I can have a look at your stuff please?
Well done Hugh! I am @jobucks.
