The Employee Engagement Network

I'M IN THE PROCESS OF CARRYING OUT A SURVEY ON EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT AT A REPUTED COMPANY IN INDIA. FROM THE INITIAL INTERVIEWS OF THE EMPLOYEES WHAT I COULD GATHER IS 'IT' IS AN UNCODITIONAL SURRENDER TO THE ORGANISATION THEY WORK FOR. THIS PARTICULAR STARTED IN 1994 HAS 70% OF THE EMPLOYEES WORKING SINCE THE INCEPTION OF THE COMPANY. ITRIED TO PROBE THEM BY ASKING QNS VIZ WON'T YOU LEAVE THE COMPANY IF ANOTHER FIRMOFFERS YOU BETTER CAREER PROSPECTS AND PAY PACKAGE . THE ANSWER TO THIS WAS A FIRM NO.

Why do you think this is?

I have connections to India too, through outsourcing and another business relationship there. I've heard that it is getting pretty tough to keep people and there is a lot of poaching going on (in the high tech sector).

Would you also do me a favour and type in sentence case? It's easier for me to read and it doesn't appear to be shouting.

Hi Carol ,
Thanx for the respopnse. Ur observation is quite right . My observation was infact based

on the interview carried on senior lot. However the Jr lot are always in search of greener

pastures. I'd be grateful if u can throw some light on effective way of carrying out

Employee Engagement survey.

Hi,

We recently completed an global survey on Engagement and we had a strong response from Indian firms. The survey was done in collaboration with Business World and they published the India results as a special report:
Here is a link to the report.

We did not find the type of company loyalty you describe. If anything many people were looking at making the most from the ongoing economic opportunities - be it inside their current firm or somewhere else...

I hope this helps!
