The Employee Engagement Network

Has anyone heard of www.ilearningglobal.tv? I was at a Brian Tracy seminar yesterday, where he promoted it. He said that if a company signs up, they can use it for all their staff. It’s monthly subscriptions that range from $80-180 per month, which I find is a bargain if it’s used for a whole company with lots of employees.

It’s short video clips on any subject (mostly business related like sales and management) and the longest are about 10min. (With the idea to invest a tiny amount of time in training per day and then begin applying it right away in your work.) I was thinking that it could be a nice way for a company to reward their staff – by giving them 10min per day for their own education and development (which will pay back in better performance). Particularly in a recession...

I can also imagine some concerns, though – what if people keep watching video clips all day, instead of working? What do you think?

I’m thinking of promoting this to clients, but I’d like to be prepared for objections :)

Thank you,
Anja

The real challenge to engage employees is to gain trust by giving them autonomy to shape their own jobs to their own wishes, interests and strengths but always aligned with an open and transparant organisational vision and strategy.

I'd appreciate hearing from others on best practices regarding the frequency of employee engagement surveys. I've seen lots of debates on what is the best interval to use for regular measurement and it wouuld help if you could share how often you do…
