The Employee Engagement Network

Hi All,

I'am very interested in the area of crossover engagement, which is the impact that one engaged individual can have on another's level of engagement I'am specially focusing on the superior-subordinate relationship. This is the area of my undergraduate research as well.

I'am finding it a bit difficult to find appropriate research articles for my literature review. Would appreciate if you could assist me with some appropriate material as well as your suggestions and comments.

Regards,

Dharshani

I am very much interested in your work on this, Dharshani, as it is the emphasis of my “Greater Good” group on the EEN (see the discussion post on the main forum list, or at the Greater Good group’s page). More later but I don’t have time now!

I just posted a comment on the "Blue Collar Engagement" thread about the overwhelming need for data, and the lost art of leadership by intuition. Rather than repeat it here, you could go take a look. But I feel this is part of the reason there is a "disconnect" between academicians and practitioners, as was discussed on another thread on the EEN.

I understand that your dissertation will require validation with data, and that will be a very difficult assignment to execute!. But as I said, this is extremely interesting to me, and I have a couple of ideas to check out. I will certainly be back!

(a little help out there, team?)
Hi Craig,
Thanks for the valuable inputs and the interest shown.
I have already gone through the threads that you have mentioned and found it very useful.
thanks once again.
Appreciate if you could keep in touch and assist me with this regard.

Dharshani
