The Employee Engagement Network

As someone who constantly works with HR professionals in a variety of different businesses, I am interested to know what the biggest challenge you face as an HR professional.

Thanks for the input.

A big challenge that HR professionals face is to contribute in a meaningful way to their company. There are many ways that HR can contribute, including talent management: acquiring talent, developing talent, engaging and retaining talent. As a talent professional, you should have a lot of common ground with your HR clients.

Terry,

Thanks for your input. I think you are right. I find that some of my hr clients tell me that they feel like it is a tough job, but one that the would never change. I am actually heading to the national shrm conference in late june. Anyone else going? Check it out at www.shrm.org, they are having jack welch speak and sheryl crow perform. should be fun and nice to see lots of my clients face to face.
