Who are you?
Have worked in internal communications for nearly ten years, initially for AXA (financial services), latterly for Orange (telecoms) and from 13 January, BP (energy).

Since 'discovering' RSS a few months ago I've come to believe that 'engagement' means something different for every employee. Because RSS puts each individual firmly in control of what they want to know about or get involved in.

So any strategy needs to apply that multi-dimensional mentality, rather than assuming that empty campaigns along the lines of the high energy, 'simply the best' lines will do the trick.

But the reason I've joined this network to find out what other people think. So I'm open to lots of thoughts on this.
What is your interest or involvement in employee engagement?
