If you pay too much attention to hierarchies, you are probably not paying enough attention to people: respect is due to human beings, not to titles.

Congratulations to Towers Perrin on their 75th anniversary. It doesn't look to me like you where there when it began Andrea but you are probably make lots of contributions now.

Well-said! It takes confidence to relax. I can see how your people skills shine in both arenas. You've really got my curiosity because you mention preparation - How do you prepare for improvisation?

Andrea,
Welcome to the employee engagement network. I so much appreciate the work that Towers Perrin-ISR is doing in the field of engagement. I love your background in improv. and clowning. I took a 10 day summer course with Keith Johnstone on improvisation this summer...it has a lot of helpful things to transfer to employee engagement. I look forward to your participation.

Profile Information

Who are you?
After some years spent between London, Paris and various Italian cities, doing employee and marketing research, in 2003 I settled in Milan, where I worked as a consultant and trainer, mainly in the fields of human resources and creativity.

Today I am a Consultant with Towers Perrin-ISR (still in Milan). I carry out employee surveys for large national and international companies and help our clients understand and act upon their results.

Other than that, my main hobbies are improvisational theatre (www.teatribu.it) and clowning (www.claunmilano.it). I'm a member of a national charity association specialised in clown-therapy.
What is your interest or involvement in employee engagement?
I am a consultant with Towers Perrin-ISR (employee engagement research)

This is a great read, a great story. I smiled the whole time as I read this. If this conversation is possible in your organization, then I'd say your leadership is trusted and transparent. Thanks for this story.
