Hi Bob, could you elaborate a bit on the reason why employees are the most likely to change their behavior? Aren't supervisors and managers and most executives also "employees"? From your post I understand that there's sort of a ranking - with th...

Hi Agnes, in my opinion the managers make all the difference to the engagement or disengagement of employees. Meaning, we should focus on educating the managers on how to recognize their team's needs, challenges, personalities, motivational drive...

Recognition

In an earlier scene:
- NICK rushing through the lobby and straight into Erin who nearly drops her armful of boxes.
- ERIN’s thoughts: Oh, god! He nearly killed me. Too bad he missed...

Hello, Anja! I just received your comment on my page of the EE Network. Many thanks for following our work on the employee recognition topic – how did we all live before without google!

Yes indeed I do have the pleasure of seeing many different cultures in the workplace. What strikes me is just how common “the human condition” is! The substance of our needs are very similar indeed, but what will vary is the style in which those needs are met. One need consistent everywhere in the world I’ve seen is for acknowledgement, appreciation and recognition for the work employees do.

Would certainly like to chat further – drop me a line at dereki@globoforce.com and let’s set up a call.

Best Regards,
Derek.

Hi Anja: Thanks for your comment on my post. I agree, reducing fees is a great way to get clients' attention and to get work. Your comment made me realize that the way I wrote the post it seemed like I was asking for help for my business specifically, but I was asking for thoughts on how firms in our industry (including mine, of course) could address this economy with creative pricing, etc. I just edited the posting to reflect my intention. Thanks for helping me see that I needed to write it a little differently! Steve

Anja. Online CRP pricing is one of the things RPI's Education Committee is going to be discussing at our Board meeting next week. I'll keep you posted. Our Education Director tells me that if you took CRP 1 online you could indeed complete the three remaining courses required for certification at the Naples conference! peter

Hi Anja... I'm in sunny Florida visiting my Dad which is a lot better than cold and snowy Montreal! Next week I'm in Dallas for RPI's Board meeting. I have sent our Education Director an email asking about the cost and how many of these course you can take at one time. FYI... I did them over a couple of conferences. The conference is being held in Naples Florida from May 3 - 6. The courses are given pre and post conference. Naples is a great spot. We held the conference there a couple of years ago. I'll get back to you as soon as I hear back from our ED. Have a great weekend! peter

Hi Anja,
Can you share the theory of self coaching cards with me. Actually we have got the gallup survey done for our company and this field was really found wanting in our employees. May be your innovative idea can help us.
Thanx
