Hi Dean,
I'm now really engaging myself into all the materials on the site. I would appreciate hearing the update on your experience since July.

Thanks David. My plan at this time is to bench mark where we're currently at with regards to engagement. The organization feels that we need to improve our engagement based on last year’s annual survey results. I compared the survey questions against Gallup's Q12 and we came up lacking in terms of useful data because the questions were not to the point.
I would like to use a survey like the Q12, but without stepping on Gallup's toes. (Copyright) Has anyone here implemented such a tool and if so, how did it work out for you?
Dean,
Sounds like you've got a great background and rich experience. I look forward to your input into the network and encourage you to get what you need. Welcome and thank you for joining.

Appreciate the question--but what if you consider that there is more than one type of "true" engagement, and that different types of engagement may involve more or less spiritual, intellectual or participatory involvement?
Yonica:
I appreciated the statement: "an invisible grandfather clause." Staying power and growth not just sticking around because of the pension. Well said.

Finding a candidate with some staying power is such an awesome thing. There are a lot of candidates out there who are willing to stick with a good employer, and there are others who are just looking to build their resume.
