Thanks Ryan! This is a very insightful paper. One of the projects I'm currently working on is a lit review on employee engagement so this will be useful there. Anything else you can send along or point me to would be most welcomed. Cheers Faye

Hi Faye, See www.engagingideas.co.uk and then go to the "good things" page. There you can download a story called "A short story on brand." It relates to engagement as it postulates that brand is behaviour. Hope this helps. Best, Rob.

Hello to Michael and Faye. I'm glad David highlighted the work you are doing. I have some short stories for you - good and, well not so good. If you would like to drop me a note we can exchange emails then I can tell you more about what I have and whether it's useful and interesting to you.

Hi Faye,

Thanks for emailing me. I'm very interested in stories too. Check out some that I've posted at this link: http://employeeengagement.ning.com/forum/topics/1986438:Topic:15181

I would love to get the group sharing stories but as you can see my earlier attempt didn't generate much interest. Perhaps you'll have better luck.

All the best,
Michael

Hi Faye,
I've sent a copy of the report you prepare for the Auditor General (I downloaded it from the internet) to one of the engagement members - Lalida Pimpakarang who is a student in Thailand working is working on Employee Engagement of Thai employees. Your article, to me, is a must read to anyone researching engagement and the various measures used in the consulting world.
It is easier for me to forward a copy than to try and give directions on how to find it online.

I hope you are well and have enjoyed some time off over the holidays. I see rain is in the forecast in Victoria - We have accumulated almost 2 feet of snow - it's up to my knees in the backyard. Whew! what a winter.

Appreciate the question--but what if you consider that there is more than one type of "true" engagement, and that different types of engagement may involve more or less spiritual, intellectual or participatory involvement?
