Who are you?
I have been engaged with the subject through my past experiences in various business positions, coaching, managing and leading people, especially in sales organizations and subsequently a consulting role for the last 10 years focused on employee engagement driven by leadership and it's strong relationship to business performance, innovation and individual development of people.
I was made aware of this network through Jennifer Schulte and as I am profoundly interested in everything related to engagement, this network might enlighten my cuurrent thinking and expertise even more.
Based upon my nearly 10 experience working with F500 companies in many parts of the world, helping them to make employee engagement part of their business strategy and as a result improve their performance, I believe that my membership could be of value for people in the "field" who are daily faced with the barriers and roadblocks in implementing this people strategy.
Where are you located?
The Netherlands

Hans,
I think you are a perfect fit. I would like this network to be very inclusive of all involved in employee engagement from consultants to managers from leaders to union members from authors to employees. I am glad you are here.

If you focus on engagement, productivity will follow. If you focus on productivity, you may not get it. To begin engagement, sit down with each employee for 40-60 minutes, privately, quietly, and confidentially, and get to know them better -- thei…
