I'm a change management consultant and coach believing that good-quality communication/interaction is key to good-quality relationships, i.e. good business.
What is your interest or involvement in employee engagement?
Consultant and coach: I see engagement as an integral part to all that happens in business: if I happily get up in the morning to go to work, I'll do much better work.
Hi Jitka,
I read your post to David - and I know Elise Roaf. She is a wonderful person. I'd like to know you more as well. May I add you as a friend?
Jean
I am not familiar with that person from Gimli. I worked up there for 15 years but live in Winnipeg about 100km away.
I think the essence of employee engagement is connection: strong and robust connections (cognitive, emotional, behavioral) to our work, customers/clients, managers & leaders, peers, personal meaning, organization, etc. The stronger the connections and the more pathways the higher the level of engagement and these connections flow both ways.
Jitka:
I am pleased you joined the Employee Engagement Network and I look forward to your participation. I appreciated your website on holt communications -- the focus and the simplicity. Let me know if I can be of assistance. David
Do you deal with an organization or service provider whose performance is lacking, but somehow you continue to accept their poor performance? If you honestly think about it, you’ll probably answer “yes.” But don’t fret too much because we all do...
What stories, case studies or personal experiences do you have of mounting rescue operations or missions to reconnect disheartened or marginalised employees with their organisations to achieve success.
