Google's #1 Again!

At the Employee Factor, we love Google. Why? Google made Fortune's "100 Best Companies to Work For" 2008 list. That’s number one for the second year running and it seems to me that you can’t be number one unless you have a happy and engaged workforce.

After all, as part of the selection procedure, 400 employees (selected at random) had to answer a 57-question survey that covered the gamut from…

hi Judy - well, ethics can drive employee engagment on a values-based approach: if employees 'chime' with the ethics/values of the organisation they are part of, they feel more loyal/committed/passionate.

but... if an organisation espouses to have certain values or ethics and they are not being cleary manifested, then employees are likely to become further disconnected and unengaged.

Thanks for the welcome Judy. Apologies for the length of time it's taken to respond but our work IT system is a bit funny so I've had to circumnavigate via a laptop. Looking forward to learning lots.
Cheers.

Hi Judy,

Thanks for the note. I'm always looking to help businesses improve the ways they recognize and motivate their employees. If you have any tips for me on how to make my experience better on this site let me know.

Thanks Judy. I have been a member of the network for some time, although with my contact info being my executive coaching email address. The Kwikpoint situation is new for me and puts me back into an operational role for a for profit company. I've benefitted greatly from the information passed on through Mr. Zinger's electronic forum and I'm sure I'll continue to do so. Let me know if there's ever any way you feel I could be helpful to you.
