Hi Judy:

Was reading some of your comments and was hoping, with your experiance that you could weigh-in on my questions :

Does is matter where employee engagement lies? Will performance or other benefits of having an engaged employee be affected if an employee is more committed/loyal/engaged to his work than to the organisation in which he works? Who is more likely to get promoted, an employee who is perceived to be engaged to his work or one who is perceived to be engaged to the organisation?

Cartoons. The cartoonist for Today at Work is a good friend of mine who does incredible work. He designed much of this site and excels in both cartoons and web display buttons.

He did the beautiful button for the Employee Engagement Conference in Barcelona!

I believe he would be delighted to customize cartoons for you. He will be joining the network soon. His current fees are very reasonable at about $60 to $75 per cartoon. Fees might be somewhat higher if any extensive customization is required.

If you email me at dzinger@shaw.ca, I will put you in touch with him directly.

Judy,
I am so pleased we are just a few members from 1000 and I also believe we have only just begun. I think this may be a business example of where community trumps organization and I believe the large consulting companies have something to fear in the power of our cooperative if they don't also transform to authentic and caring communities offering great value to their community.

My timetable tends to erratic apart from the evenings when I teach. Other than that it varies from week to week. If you have a selection of times that would suit you then I am sure that I can slide things around fit in.

Thank you for your invitation, I would be delighted to help but
I should say that I am not a leader.
I try to help people who aspire to be leaders to understand what their workforce need in order to perform and I have to say that much of the time, they do not need a leader.
What they need is acknowledgement appreciation and support and if the person who gives them that is a leader, then they need a leader.

Welcome, Judy.

Glad you've joined us.

If you'll forgive the long-time-ago-Language-Arts-teacher-in-me, I'll suggest the addition of "ful" to success in your About Me above.

I'm sensing strong coaching talent from you!

Tim
