Hi Kris,

I noticed that you posted to this discussion thread on social media.

I agree with your points:
- Social media can be a powerful tool in the right context or setting
- It is not a substitute for face-to-face engagement, but rather a compliment to it.
- It is a great tool when used appropriately, but is not the "answer" to engagement.

I've set up this new sub-group on using social media, and look forward to joining the ongoing conversation.

Hi Kris,

Thanks for the welcome. I have been to several places in the US from Texas and Florida up to Boston, New York and Connecticut. Never made it to California yet. Maybe you can pass on a few things about how they 'do' engagement there.

Hi Kris,
I am glad you joined. I have 3 children ages 18, 16, and 16. I love them to pieces. Great picture with the glasses. Your blog looked good even if you paused it. I'd encourage you, when you have the time and interest, to pick it up again. We need more people @ work.

Thanks a lot for your help ! I actually did have a look on Gallup's 12 Questions, the only worry is that it measures more the enablers of employee engagement than employee engagement itself. I have however grouped the items into themes, and only o...
