Profile Information

Who are you?
I am a third generation recognition professional, specializing in improving employee performance and employee safety. We started our incentive company 15 years ago, in 1993, and now are part of a global network - World Award Alliance - which fulfills in over 59 countries (and counting).

Personally, I am 43 years old; graduate of Brown University, Providence, RI; BS in Economics; father of two; avid sailboat racer; present box seat ticket holder for the OKC Thunder NBA franchise; numerous charitable activities (but my passion is Big Brothers Big Sisters - mentor 'em while they're young).
What is your interest or involvement in employee engagement?
Our company, McDowell Incentives, Inc., provides recognition solutions that link incentives specifically to behaviors which drive a company’s business goals, boosting morale and bottom line profit.

Welcome, Kurt.

I'm interested in the connection (similarities and differences) between incentives, recognition offers, and the whole bag of employee engagement.

And I like Oklahoma City!

Hello Kurt,
I was just online welcoming the last member to join and you showed up in bow tie. This makes you both recognizable and you add some class to the network. I hope you enjoy your time here, offer your perspective, and get what you need.
