Clarify the goal and let them play. Open communications channel to envision what is reached and allow them to feel responsible for that. They would appreciate the value of their contribution to a greater objective.

Hi Monica

It's been a great experience reading your background and expertise. It is great also that you love to sing and write songs. I love that too... During this months I have already opened my own firm to work with small business in coaching, od and HR related issues. I have also certified as Business Coach and I am a representative partner of the institution I certified with. Love to open a collaborative relationship with you. You can also see my profile on linked in... Where can I get your book? I really admire what you have achieved...

Hola, Mario Alberto! I am happy to see there are some fellow engagers from Mexico. I feel employee engagement is such an important issue anywhere, but especially in our typically top-down, high structure organizations. Would love to engage in conversation with you.

Welcome to the employee engagement network. I am so pleased you joined us from Mexico. I viewed the website and quite liked the images and the music. I would be interested in hearing about the improvement you made in the company and how things are going in Mexico in relationship to employee engagement. Sounds to me your most important engagement was to marry Marisela!

How Head count reduction can diminish employee engagement?

During this economic fall down many companies are looking for urgent actions to foster better and rapid results...

What could you suggest to work in the before and after stages of a Head Count reduction process to still working on engagement issues?

Thanks a lot for your inputs

As a survey consultant I guess that I should like the idea of conducting monthly surveys, but I am concerned that employees may feel that they are being "over surveyed." There are options, of course. An organization might randomly assign each emplo…

This is a great read, a great story. I smiled the whole time as I read this. If this conversation is possible in your organization, then I'd say your leadership is trusted and transparent. Thanks for this story.
