Michelle,
I started both a forum and a group on the network. I would love to see this be a great place to keep up with all the latest research in Employee Engagement. I appreciate your request being the genesis of this development.

Michelle, I will start a forum to have participants offer sources of current research on employee engagement. Here is a new report from Blessing White.

i love puns (even those that 'reach' a bit!) I'll do my best to contribute.

in the meantime, I'm getting ready to do a presentation next week at our annual communicators conference and will do a bit about employee engagement. Am working with data which is now about 2-3 years old (towers perrin, corporate leadership council, and the like). Might there be anything more recent which shows the impact of engagement on business operations?

Hi Michele,
I echo Terrence's welcome and hope we can "bank" on your "world" view. OK, I have pun problems but seriously I look forward to your interaction and point of view.

Appreciate the question--but what if you consider that there is more than one type of "true" engagement, and that different types of engagement may involve more or less spiritual, intellectual or participatory involvement?
