Profile Information

Who are you?
I am the Corporate Account Support Manager for a mail-order company. For the past 20 years I've been in Credit Management and needed a new challenge. As a manager I try to bring out the best in people. I have a great sense of humor and I think that is a VERY important attribute for managers to have. Having fun at work is a wonderful way to keep people motivated.
What is your interest or involvement in employee engagement?
I work shoulder to shoulder with my people to keep them moving in the right direction.

I am sure my children sometimes see my face as a clown's face. I appreciate you adding "a face" to your name.

Mike,
Keep shouldering along with the people at work. That is a nice image instead of some hierarchy. Please feel free to bring your humor to this site.
People have a variety of reasons not to show their "face" on this site. If you prefer not to, I respect that and encourage you to find an image to represent yourself...maybe a clown's face or am I going too far.
David

I created a Ning network for my staff members in May 2009. After an initial meeting with management, the idea was put on hold. In mid November 2009, management gave me word that I could go ahead and launch the Ning network I created in the summer....
