Leadership: Series of 8 Articles on true engaging leadership.

Leadership is about people and so is employee engagement. They are closely related so I thought I'd add this entry here to point out my latest series on Leadership at my blog site, LearnThis.ca

These series have always been the best part of my site and are definitely the most engaging with my readers. I think many people from here would enjoy it as well.

The introduction page is here and the rest of the series is coming out whi… Continue

Mountain Unicycling: Now That's An Engaging Activity!!!

Thought this was most relevant and David's been after me to post more about this activity of mine. I wrote an article about it on my blog about what makes it SO engaging. Because it definitely is. I NEVER get left alone on that thing! That's why I have to ride it in the toughest trails in the mountains!

Anyway, the article is here... http://learnthis.ca/2008/10/mountain-unicycling-not-thats-an-engaging-actContinue

My blog is elsewhere, but employee engagement is here...

Well, I don't write strictly on employee engagement much at my regular blog site, which is Learn This. However, I do write quite a lot of related articles and many about management and leadership skills in the workplace and one recently was about promoting employee engagement in the workplace.

Thanks for the invite, Mike. Thanks for staying in touch. Hope the unicycling weather in Calgary has gotten better than it's been.

Mike,

This network has made it, anybody who can engage life on one wheel and maintain balance, perspective, momentum, and engaement belongs here. You have much to teach us. I hope you will post a video of the one wheel moving mountains.

I appreciate you joining. I will be in Calgary in July from July 20 to July 31. I am taking a 10 day improvisation course with Keith Johnstone. Seems to me you would be good at that.

David

Appreciate the question--but what if you consider that there is more than one type of "true" engagement, and that different types of engagement may involve more or less spiritual, intellectual or participatory involvement?
