Greetings Sarah. The pursuit of learning is core human element (and therefore an engagement strategy itself!). Please feel free to check our site www.thepeoplemodel.com or me at jreece@thepeoplemodel.com, or through here if there is anything that I can do or povide that will help in your pursuit. Good luck!

Hi Sarah,
I am out of town for a few days so away from my sources. I think you have the basics. You can be quite satisfied without being engaged. Engagement seems richer to me me than motivation because it tends to involve more in my perception. Gallup sure moved the whole concept forward with all their early work. I can't remember the original author to use the term, I think it was Kelley in the early 1990's...I can probably find that info. if you want when I return back to Winnipeg next week. Let me know.

Sarah,
I am so pleased that you joined us. Victoria and Montreal are a bit far apart. What have you been learning about employee engagement and what have been your own experiences with engagement. I am always so pleased to welcome another person from Canada to the network. I started this in Winnipeg and now we have gone not only from Coast to Coast but around the world. Let me know how I can be of assistance.
