Thanks for adding me Vicki. I've always been very interested in Root Learning and I hope to meet in person sometime since we're so close. I remember when Root Learning was located in Arrowhead.

Reach out anytime. Thanks again.

Hi Vicki:

Wonderful to have someone from Root learning in the network. Your organization does the best "at drawing out engagement." I enjoyed the day I spend in Sylvania in very early April. A wonderful building holding a wonderful group of people. I trust you will find good information and strong connections here. I encourage you to contribute to the forums, blogs, etc. If I can be of assistance, let me know.

David

Recognition is important, but possibly not in the way you think. Rewards have negative effects down the road no matter how good they look. On this subject, read Alfie Kohn's "Punished by Rewards". I managed people for over 30 years. In order to s...

Angela, I think recognition is always essential but we have to look at the deeper reason why. Reward and recognition confirms value. Every human being wants to know, "Does my life matter?" This is the questions we help answer when we reward and re...
