My Client is currently recruiting a Employee Engagement and Communications Manager this will be a 3 month fixed term contract with the opportunity to go permanent, this role will start imminently, this will ideally be for 24 hours per week spread over 3 days.

Purpose

The purpose of this role is to maximise employee engagement across the organisation so that:
* Employees act as advocates and ambassadors for the company, feeling comfortable to speak positively the company both internally and externally
* Employees are committed and want to remain with the company to develop their careers;
* We are harnessing the skills and enthusiasm of our employees and that they are prepared to put in additional (discretionary) effort when required to ensure company success.
This is an exciting new role and gives the right person the opportunity to have a tangible impact on the success of the business, operate at senior levels and further develop their own career.

Responsibilities

To develop and execute an integrated employee engagement strategy that is cost efficient, imaginative, fit for purpose and supports the overall business plan. This will focus on six key areas, but will involve other activities as required:
* Core Engagement
* Communications;
* Events;
* Employment Proposition;
* Leadership.
* Building internal competence

The individual will have a good understanding and practical experience in all areas of employee engagement with a track record of having a tangible impact on a business. Be able to design and deliver employee engagement interventions within a fast moving, intellectually rich environment.
