Great tips for engagement from a stage musical
When did you last see a great stage musical? Did you notice how the cast work together? And beyond that - was their love for their work so obvious it absolutely infuses the audience with the feel-good factor?
I read recently about an energetic new show - Lost and Found Orchestra. It struck me a couple of days ago, that in the sort of challenging times we're dealing with now, great musical groups and stage shows can provide a fantastic example of how we should be working in our companies.

Look beyond generic engagement tools: focus on personal drivers from employees, group them accordingly and align engagement tools.
The real challenge to engage employees is to gain trust by giving them autonomy to shape their own jobs to their own wishes, interests and strengths but always aligned with an open and transparant organisational vision and strategy.
Before you start engaging an employee, know him and respect him as an individual first and engagement will follow.
