…a JOB in a “traditional” world?
Traditional people only sees the surface, thereby, missing the unusually great talents. This is for the simple fact that they just talk to the paper and not the person. They just browse the resume and not analyze the profile.
Search sites are close to useless for the unconventional… for this time, recruiters just talks to computers. Obviously, the best ways would then be… through “networking” and self-promotion, like “blogs.”
Clearly, a paradigm shift is needed not just for the seekers’ benefit, but for the employers as well.
“I stand for the square deal… I mean not merely that I stand for fair play under the present rules of the game, but that I stand for having those rules changed so as to work for a more substantial equality of opportunity and of reward for equally good service.” - Theodore Roosevelt
As a Leader, how would you act on the hiring process?
