David,
I hope I am able to hold the ball. Three days ago I got the clearence from the university to start my research activity on EE. And to day I got the first solid step to start with. This is a nice article. But the audio qulty of the recording was poor. may be due to the poor comuncation infrastructure in this part of the world. But its a nice experience. I am twenty years old in my company and considered to be successful in all the capacities I had oppertunity to perform. But I realise now how unfocused I am towards visibility and networking. This is an eye opener to me.

That is very helpful. You could almost show is as value to the power of 2, value for others and capitalizing on our own values. I have about 10 One Ball posts done and I am striving towards one each week. Thanks for the tweaking, encouragement, and time.

David,

I love this piece, and the "One Ball" title is great. Your equation is a really useful way of increasing awareness around the importance of visibility, engagement, and value to one's personal brand. I've had a number of clients who have a well-developed sense of their strengths and value to others, but little in the way of visibility. So, great equation. The only addition I can think of would be to identify personal values along with the strengths: both what you're good at and what you care about. Hope that's helpful!

Thanks a lot for your help ! I actually did have a look on Gallup's 12 Questions, the only worry is that it measures more the enablers of employee engagement than employee engagement itself. I have however grouped the items into themes, and only o...
