I have always known that I want to be a leader. I have not always been the leading type, but human interactions are very interesting. My absolute big WOW moment happend 3 years ago, when I met a coach that told me not to go for the position as a leader, but go for the knowledge and the rest will follow. I applied to a job, and did not get it, I applied again and did get it, because I suddenly had a lot of tools and skills that a leader need. What changed was my goals to climbe the company ladder, and it changed to climbing the knowledge ladder, the result is 3 promotions in 3 years. I am still trying to become a better leader every single day. :)

Finding a candidate with some staying power is such an awesome thing. There are a lot of candidates out there who are willing to stick with a good employer, and there are others who are just looking to build their resume. Though you may find candid…
