Annie, Next Wednesday at 1:00 PM I'm speaking at the Union League Club for a conference put on by Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism (a new group called the Forum for People Performance Management and Measurement). I have a few guest passes for the day-long event so I thought I would see if you would be interested in attending. Here is a link with more details about the event: http://performanceforum.org/Think-Tank.97.0.html

I hope you can join us!

With best wishes and warmest regards,
Michael

No problem! Definitely part of the Melcrum "family" - the Internal Comms Hub is one of our online publications, but all our research and content is highlighted across all our various publications - journals, websites, enewsletters, conferences, blogs, podcasts, videos, webinars, short reports etc.

Sorry I've been slow in welcoming you to EEN.

Glad to have you here. Are you part of the Melcrum "family" or is Int'l Comms Hub a sep. entity?

Annie,

I am delighted you joined this network and I must say your picture on Melcrum looks different than this one. I guess when you work like a dog...I won't go there.

You are a wonderful resource for this network and I encourage all on this network to visit and read all the wonderful resources and perspectives you offer us through Melcrum.

Thanks for sharing this information, Roy. When I was Research Director at The Loyalty Institute, we found that the #1 driver of employee commitment was an organization's efforts to build a sense of spirit and pride. This was true in the US as well…

This is a great read, a great story. I smiled the whole time as I read this. If this conversation is possible in your organization, then I'd say your leadership is trusted and transparent. Thanks for this story.
