Reflections of Paradise-Honolulu Literacy Institute

When I tell my friends and family that I am traveling to Hawaii for "work", you can imagine the kind of looks I get. The true "paradise" for me is the learning. This image represents just two days of learning...

About Me: (Please let us know about you and also add a picture to your profile).
Teachers need to be great learners to lead great learners. I believe that learning is a lifelong journey, an ongoing exploration and way of life. I challenge myself and others to always be striving to find and share big ideas in every million dollar conversation. I conduct workshops and training sessions helping learners of all ages develop their skills in critical thinking, reading, and communication.
What is your involvement in employee engagement?
Workforce development and engagement begins in the classroom - and that's where I engage most often.

Welcome Angela,
I love your slogan "Putting learners first." Where I work, we subscribe to that motto as well.
From one lifelong learner to another,
Terry

Angela,
Nice to see you joined given you were a key contributor to our free alphabetical employee engagement e-book and you offered a perspective on student (learner) engagement.
